love and respect is at our core

We raise our animals in a loving, stress-free environment, treating each one with the respect they deserve. Above all else, we care for our herd and hold ourselves to the highest standard.

About M+D Farms

Long ago, a glacier-carved out a steep hill that’s not common in our area. The hill sits next to our farm and has been a topic of discussion for generations. The hill was named Bunker Hill, and the family grazed cattle until Bunker Hill became overgrown with beautiful trees. We have kept the hill’s name relevant and proudly call our product Bunker Hill Beef.

Since 1790, our family has produced a wide range of agricultural products. Our pastures are well maintained with over 150 acres of open fields, promoting native grass growth and a balanced diet for our cattle.

David is the 6th generation to work this revolutionary war tract, one of the last remaining tracts of its kind in Onondaga County.  He and his brother Bill are committed to maintaining the farm’s agriculture purpose and have lived on the farm their entire lives. David and Melissa raised grass-fed beef after David retired from masonry in 2005.
